I feel it is important to use a designer for the overall scheme. Choosing the right tile, wall color, fixtures, vanity, and accessories is something that not everybody can do. If you don’t get these parts right, your bathroom may look outdated from the start. Always hire licensed guys and instead of looking in the BBB, check with google places. The BBB only feature contractors who give them money.

Some people lack the vision needed to make descisions before the process has begun, In this case that is what designers are for. Hire a designer to help you on your path or even a friend or family member can be helpfull. The bottom line is that with any remodel especially a kitchen you are better off going in with a plan of what the end result is going to be. This way you and your contractor are both on the same page.
